The question of the day is where did all the hard to find Becos go? The sad news is that Beco has moved their manufacturing to China (and that, my friends, is a story for another day) and the option of making custom editions is no longer an option… All of our special Butterflies are now extinct, say goodbye to Morgan, Kassie, Isis, & Riley… Au revoir to Alice, Dylan, & Aimee…

Makes me so happy

Summer vacation means being out & about 24/7 with the kids!  Thank goodness for my Beco stash since baby is being worn all day long!  It took us 45 minutes to get all 5 kids and I ready to go, and another 30 to walk to the neighborhood park which usually takes about 12 minutes!  We needed to stop and inspect every interesting flower and bug we passed, and we had an interesting, and unforgettable, experiment involving 1 little girl, 1 Haba wooden buggy, and 1 dry creek bed!  When the big daddy arrived with a picnic dinner an hour after we got to the park, we were all ravenous and had a few hair-raising stories to tell.

My little guy was so sad this evening during that pesky “witching hour” until his daddy popped him onto his back in MY Alice (you’d think the man doesn’t have his own TDF baby carrier stash!)  and then he quieted right down!  THANK GOODNESS, because baby #5 has quite the set of lungs!
